Course Aims

Concentrating on the key safety issues for personnel who are involved in the handling, storage or use of cryogenic gases including liquid nitrogen.

Liquid Nitrogen and Cryogenic liquids are particularly hazardous; their high liquid to gas ratios presents a genuinely serious risk of asphyxiation. This e-learning workshop concentrates on the key safety issues for personnel who are involved in the handling, storage or use of cryogenic gases including liquid nitrogen.

Attendance gives staff information to understand the specific hazards associated with Liquid Nitrogen, resulting in an assured workforce and a safer workplace.

Who is the course for?

Suitable for those who decant Liquid Nitrogen from vessels or use from dewars & small flasks.

Certification

Successful learners will receive a PGS Certificate of Achievement accredited with 1 CPD learning hour.

Learners have 2 attempts at the final quiz, they may review a module freely should they fail the test on the first occasion
After a second failed test the full module must be reviewed before taking the test again
