Course Aims

Completion of this course should result in the safe use of dispense gases and will ensure staff understand inappropriate behaviours resulting in an assured workforce and a safer workplace.

'Working safely with beverage gases safety training' has been developed alongside AirLiquide UK to provide distributors, suppliers and drivers with essential, industry relevant safety information when transporting & handling dispensing gases.

Who is the course for?

The course highlights the requirements for proper transport procedures, cylinder checks and risk assessments when working with beverage gases in confined spaces such as cellars and basements.


Successful learners will receive a PGS Certificate of Achievement accredited with 1 CPD learning hour.

To receive a certificate of training learners must successfully answer a final multiple choice quiz
A pass rate of 80% is required to receive a certificate of training
Learners have 2 attempts at the final quiz, they may review a module freely should they fail the test on the first occasion
After a second failed test the full module must be reviewed before taking the test again
