Globally Harmonised System – GHS E-learning

The European Union CLP end date was 1 June 2015. Old CHIP rules are now invalid. A transition period with sell out for mixtures labelled under DPD is allowed to 31 May 2017, following this date all non-compliant labelling will be illegal

Who is the course for?

All users of chemical substances and mixtures.  The primary method of establishing the contents of a gas cylinder is the cylinder label.

This short course will give users the information required to understand GHS labelling and therefore correctly identify the product.

Certification

Successful learners will receive a PGS Certificate of Achievement

Why Training

It is essential that users of hazardous substances are able to correctly identify the product in use.  GHS labelling is the worldwide system for classifying and conveying the hazardous properties of industrial and consumer chemicals.
